Hi all, does anyone know which larger motor will fit in a VBB without cutting bodywork? I was thinking of 180 or 200. Also my VBB does not have a battery, everything works direct, but there is still an ignition key.

Reliant 750cc with a small turbo.... In actual fact, I am led to believe that a PX lump fits without too much hacking about, other people on here will verify it.

a rally/p200 will fit in a vbb without cutting , but frame will have to be relieved slightly in the area of the rear of carb box .the right angle ledge around edge of frame has to be straightened ,5 minutes with mole grips or a few mallet blows an its done .H

If you use a non autolube carb box (off an earlier pre px) it will be easier, but they do still run super close to the frame at the box so may need a bit of finessing as Henri suggests.
Also can be impossibly tight around the cylinder head near the swing arm mount If you are unlucky. I guess a 200 will be worse as the barrel is wider.
By 180 I presume you mean a kitted 125 motor, which will fit fine as the barrel fits in same cowling. Not a proper rally 180 engine, which would clearly be sacralige to put in anything other than a rally 180 frame :-)
