ive used banggood before ,got some good stuff from there real cheap , beware of the "adult" section unless your cool with dodgy pop-ups appearing on ya computer later . as my missus found out ,she swears it was just curiosity, least thats what she told me . seems they do a nice line in foxtails ,if you like em with a attached butt-plug that is .i got into trouble suggesting the nxt time the local mod factions have a falling out these should be the weapon of choice,rather than handbags at ten paces .an if ya like cafe's IMG-20170910-00133 by henri briggs, on Flickr seen at the ace cafe run/brighton burn up , an thats a db34 goldstar lump, with brand new billet cases an 5 speed box ,an a norton dommie frame ,bout 15000 in components at least . lent the guy a spanner as fuel tap was leaking an got a funny look when i said "i'm not cleaning that ,its going home, in a frame n hung on the wall .H

My CB250 cafe was a nightmare to ride. My wrists couldn't take the strain on the drops OK at speed but a nightmare around town. Knobhead who had it before fitted Amal carbs to the Honda lump and it ran rubbish at low revs Got rid of it in the end cb250 by Dave Gale, on Flickr

Henri, cheers for that PSML π.Your a STAR on hereππ.
ianmartin40, I totally agree, I like looking at different modes of transport, as you never know where your can find something that you can transfer onto scooters.I have a mate who loves and builds Lambrettas, he also builds Vespas, fullframes and cutdoons,His other big love is Harley's and American cars, the number of very cool Vespas and Lambrettas he has built using the odd parts and accessories from USA motors is astounding!He's been scootering since about 1985 and still does tons of rallys.
mushroom,I believe through owning all the different vehicles you have, you've accumulated loads of knowledge and would love to see any future project you do, especially if it was a one off scooter π.
Cheers for you input guys and if anyone else would like to chip in, feel free. ( Members that don't post often, most welcome π.
All the best.

I've posted a link before of this YouTube site, the simple skills videos Delboy and Penny have on their site are very useful for anyone who wants to learn welding, bodywork or mechanical skills, please, please don't be put off by them being into motorcycles! If you see their video of them at Brightona 2012 , ( I think it wasπ)( Henri and mushroom that video makes me so envious of the area you guys stay in π) you will hear Delboy say nice things about a Lambrettas. I'm not into lights and mirrors myself but whatever floats your boat fine by meπ.
Brightona link below; not so keen on the band/s but everyone to their own π.
Some of the project bike he builds are WELL worth looking at too, as many of the techniques are transferable to scooters!
Example of simple skills videos below;
They are... moonfleet41
Hope at least someone finds it interesting and useful βΊ, please put me know what you think?
Ride safe.

I am not into loads of mirrors, I don't need to see a million different angles of my own mush as I'm slowly obeying gravity... Thought of a website:- www.ebay.co.ukπ On a serious note, a mate of mine told me about this website:- www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gbMainly plant machinery and tools etc, but useful stuff nonetheless. Also:- www.copart.co.uk and:- m.motorhog.co.ukThese 2 I've put up before, which reminds me, mushroom did you buy back the Mrs stolen motorbike?

which reminds me, mushroom did you buy back the Mrs stolen motorbike? No mate, they wanted over a grand for it in the end They paid out generously after the missus gave them a 2 hour phone conversation grilling She loves her Superfour and she's still got her KZ400 in the garage We got a letter though the other day about a new owner applying for the V5 for the Superdream so it'll be back on the road anyway

Here's one for Vespa GTS owners π, LED lighting upgrade.π.
Vespa motor sport USA YouTube channel itself is worth a look through (that's one of its videos above π). I enjoyed the videos they posted of the trip they did to Mexico, I remember looking forward to them posting each video update, as they were doing the trip.
