? I'm lost - what and why is the problem . I love it when amateurs get hold of a scooter and then are amazed that they do something thats been done a 1000 times before and think they are the 1st to do it.... another 20mins of my life wasted watching something i already knew... Did he not know the exhaust stub unscrews so he could have worked on the port much easier...

The thread wasn't aimed at your level of expertise, now your on the forum would you like me to add 'For the Amateur mechanic only' and that will save you wasting any more time, because I don't know what you already know or it may be easier for you to write all you know, then we'll all know what you know?😵 Obviously, this being his first geared Vespa he wasn't aware of the exhaust stub.
I thought he did very, very well for it being his first foray into geared Vespas.😱
The arrogance of some of the "pros" on here never ceases to amaze me, just because they have knowledge of Italian shopping bikes.🙊🙉🙈
