Hi folks,
hoping someone learned in the dark arts of scooter electrics may be able to help me out.
had a burn out of my ground cable which killed my GT. It seems that the positive battery cable may have touched the frame.
i have reinstalled the ground and both the battery cables, installed a new battery, fitted a new plug, all other connectors and cables seem ok.
when i try to turn the scoot over it tries but won't fire.
i've got these diode readings from a bench test on the voltage regulator;
from the red pin to the 3 stator cables 6.06 - 5.41 - 6.01 from the black pin 5.57 - 5.83 - 5.98
and these readings from the coil;
from the green pin to the wire that goes to the spark plug holder I'm getting 3.04 k ohms
resistance between the green and the black pins goes up to 0.5 ohms but settles between 0.2 & 0.3 ohms
are these readings ok and show both units operating ok?
i guess thats leading me towards a faulty ECU/CDI?. are there any tests I can do on the bench as the scoot is stripped down now, or do i have to reinstall everything, power, switches etc.
also from the manual section 9 i'm a bit unsure on the pin numbers for checking, as the pins are not in a straight line on the ECU like the manual diagram.
Many thanks for reading and for any ideas.

dont know gt's ,too modern for me , will ask a friend in local scooter shop if theres any thing he can think of . is there a chance having no battery power has triggered the immobiliser .try re-setting that ,you need the red master key an instructions in the manual . H
