Bit ive alsonseen on ebay a full flywheel/ stator kit could i replace the chinese 12 coil fitted now with one of these kits and a new cdi to make it nack into a normal ingnitioned scoot ? Phew longwinded but im in need of help. Thanks in advance.

You could, but what you need to consider is whether you need your engine to rev higher than the standard 7000 rpm. If you are hitting the limiter in top gear then fair enough but if not then you might be better off considering other modifications to get your engine stronger. The guys on here are full of info and simple things like adding extra base gaskets and drilling your air filter can add a bit of pep.

Get the Zeus. far superior bit of kit though out the whole rev range than what you got. If you enjoy your ride you won't regret it. Well worth it.

Well I decided to get a Zeus CDI, it arrived for collection and I fitted it in the Home-base car park this morning and just rode to work in a mixture of urban 20/30mph residential & 50mph North Circular. Wow! What a massive transformation! The gears are more useable without having to change up early doing low speed maneuvers etc and it was a dream on North Circ & much more responsive.
Definitely a good investment.

T'was ยฃ85 all in from Reedspeed & took about 20 minutes to fit in a car park. I rode about 50 miles around and through central London today filtering stationary traffic & holding 50ish MPH with no trouble at all. Can't recommend it enough.
