Can anyone please help me A few years ago i purchased a 150 Sportique with a seized motor I stripped the motor and chucked away the "rubbish" I then purchased a crank for it , which sat in my cupboard for a year or so until i had the opportunity to fit it when i replaced the clutch cover i discovered there was a problem. The original clutch (with the original spacer behind it) does not come out far enough for the clutch arm to touch it(it needs about 3mm more). This has sat in my shed for another year or so and the crank and bearings have seized (back to square 1!) I now need to buy another crank, but I'm worried about ordering one in case i have this problem again, and i do not have the original as reference.
Is the Sportique crank the same as the VBB crank or did I order the wrong thing in the first place?
Can the clutch position be adjusted with thicker spacers(I currently have 1.7mm)
Is there something else really obvious I'm missing?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
