The only point of an SI 28 would be to keep the auto lube. Anyone who needs a 28 (210 kit) would not trust an auto lube to keep their barrel shiny.
I think they won't be popular.
You up to riding about again yet?

Thanks for the responses, PXG, just to reply to your point: Scooterlab who put up the details say that it is not a part that uses the autolube system (and mention most tuners/upgraders do away with the autolube). It is also said to have a 5mm higher float bowl and larger channels.(does that sound beneficial to you).
Regarding my little scrape, it potentially could be a long road because the impact was high 90mph-100mph it means it takes longer to heal(collarbone) so three months and then may not be 100% and could end up being cut open. pek..

Pecker, hope you get better soon 👍, mate.
As for the carb, it will be interesting to hear about them as owners start posting. The carb mods you mention are to try to increase fuel flow and to cure fuel starvation, when combined with a faster flow fuel tap.
Good luck. Jim/ mij☺

The higher float level messes up the atomiser hole alignment. Can be jetted ok but difficult to do. The drilling of the jet channel is the same as can be done yourself. An autolube hole could be drilled in it but who would want a 28 on autolube? I still have the autolube on my 26/26 in the Tourer and that will end up on a 142 or 145 main jet next time out. In my opinion this is the limit of the SI carb. Anymore needs a big boys one. Hopefully you are up to having a sneaky ride around soon

Which make one wonder 😉, what's Pinasco thinking making this at the risk to their reputation?

Yes mijapxman very pricey also in relation to normal dellorto si 20/20 - 24/24's carbs etc.... As PXG mentioned, you can most probably gain the same results by doing the carb mods as discussed. Obviously i think we would all be interested if someone did dive into the deep end and then shared there thoughts with us.( i,m afraid may not be me)
I acquired the bigger air box a little while a go, and thought it made throttle response better, and seemed to make the scoot breath better right through the rev range.
As always, All the best pek
