Can anyone recommend/advise suppliers who would send some much needed parts for my newly acquired PX200 (2001 model) to South east Asia?
Urgently need starter relay, fuel sender, front indicators, etc. Local suppliers here carry very limited stock. Tried Ebay and most won't send to Thailand. Sip will, but they use only couriers and they are robbing b******ds this end, adding ridiculous charges and double the normal import duties/taxes. A problem avoided if sent by Parcelforce/Post office. Beedspeed seem good, but also expensive.
Alternatives anyone? Grateful for any info. as feeling out of the loop!
Cheers,
Charlie

Scooter centre ship to malaysia but it isn`t cheap so worth ordering a few bits at a time, it is shocking that lots of vespa parts for sale in Europe come from India or Vietnam but you are struggling to buy them over there. I recently bought some parts from Ho Chi Min city through fleabay, it was badges and rivets, they were cheap and post was also cheap but I know why as the holes didn`t line up with the holes in the legshield for the rivets! Anything I have bought from scooter centre has been decent quality and fit. www.scooter-center.com/content/delivery_outside_euIt may be easier to have a friend buy them in UK then post them to you

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll check 'em both out. If anyone else wants to chime in, please do. Yes, Ianmartin, I know exactly what you're saying. I always joke with mates here, saying 'ha na-tee Thailand' (five minute Thailand), as after you've bought something, usually awesomely cheap, you have to go out and buy another one.. 5 mins later. Anyone who's bought a knock-off Breitling, or Rolex in Asia will know what I mean! So, I shouldna been dismayed and surprised when I ordered a regulator from Bangkok, stressing it was for a PX 200 and when it arrived, it was for a LML Ho-hum!
