Hi, I just acquired a poor example of a 94 cosa. It's registered as a 123cc but the vin plate sats it has a 198cc motor. It needs lots of tlc and I've no real idea of suppliers, part numbers, availability of parts etc, seems they changed lots of bits on this model! and it seems that the cosa wasn't the most popular model either! However I need to find the colour code for the paint, it's a metalic red, I need to replace the seat lock toolbox lock and the o/s side panel catch, clutch cable etc etc. I've ordered a Haynes manual but I'm not sure it'll be the right one! Any help advice etc would be most welcome. I'm retired on the I o W so moneys tight, no change there, but I'm trying to catch up on things I missed in my youth, like scooters. Cheers Rogerciow.

With the paint it would be best to take it to your local spray shop for them to scan it. Good luck though, I've always wanted to have a go on a Cosa!

hi n welcome , i run a cosa for my "management" (mrs) , an like to ride it when i get the chance .if you join facebook an the cosanauts page you will find a manual in the files section . post a picture an somebody there will probs know the paint code .the haynes manual will be useful for engine stuff an forks ,but cosa electrics an brakes wont be covered in it at all . for the parts you want its going to be sip in germany or german ebay ,or recambious-moto-clasico or harrys garage in spain , the cosa was more popular in those countrys .tho allstyles in pompey an VE(uk) are always worth a try .H
