Well the Malossi Smallframe built by Chiselspeed has died after a couple of months. I'm going to be completely stripping the engine down and building one myself without any mechanical knowledge at all. I'm looking at this Pinasco kit - www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/racing+cylinder+pinasco+zuera_84112000Anybody used this one before? What are your thoughts on it? I think I'll be accompanying it with more Pinasco parts. Nothing but grief with the Smallframe built by Chiselspeed, I no longer want my scooter associated with them.

sorry to here that about your lump mate . not used pinasco's on smallframes so dont know the kit,but generally pinasco's are seen as in the middle between run of the mill iron kits dr/polini/malossi's and high end falc's/quattrinis .looks a good barrel an lots cheaper than the polini mid-range evo ali kit . might be worth looking at the avotechnica/vmc ali kit ,there cheaper an fairly equivalent .an definetly worth a ask on the vespasmallframe forum, somebody over there has probably run one an will know more .H

its possible ,the cases matched/blended to the malossi kit would probably blend easier to a evo kit .as the lads on smallie forum pointed out the pinasco has large transfers .it could be just bolted on but you wouldnt be getting the best from it .H
