The pics dont do it justice. Bags of metal flake thrown at it, it feels like sandpaper! A couple questions, Does anybody recognize the seat? It has the structure of a stock seat but it's just half the height. The frame number comes up 1968 rally 180, Did these have a kill switch by the bag hook under the seat, or is this hole a modification a previous owner made? It should be a fun project!

the seat must be a owner creation if its still got the rally offset filler tank . neat 1 by the look of it , although i thought rally tanks were humped at rear an other large frame seats wouldnt fit .an as far as i know rally switches didnt have a kill-button ,the ignition was always in the seat arch by hook. but at 68 thats quite a early rally ,ive only known 70's ones . an the paint looks like a 70's-80's dodge ,it was hard n expensive to get metal flake ,which is actually in the laquer coat an polished out .so you went to woolworths an got xmas glitter an threw it over a wet laquer/paint coat ,rough as sandpaper, dont brush past wearing shorts it will take the skin off ya . is it a px engine,as looks like a px kicker ,nice base for a project . My first scoot was an 'M' reg rally 200, it had a cutout button at the bag hook and no (key ) or other ignition on/ off. All early Rally 200s had this. I believe. This may be the same on Rally 180s?

Henri, that's so true about the glitter! I heard someone recently recommend B&Ms( I think it was) for different glitter colours .😵😂

Change the seat and jobs a good un! I hate metal flake but like Henri says, you would know who got too close to it by either scuffed jeans or grazes! 😆
