Mostly been... Getting good service from Buzzsolomoto.
Also just had a flying visit from my mate "T" , who gave me a dial gauge and magnetic base, ( that's two he's given me, cheers Bud) so I can have a go on my crank jig. He also left a genuine
P200 barrel for me to tune the exhaust port " Scooterotica garage " style, for him, which is handy as it'll let me measure my so called " BGM" barrel? before I port it the same way. J๐

Mostly today, been getting to the bottom of the wife's Superfour rattle Since I did the clutch it's had a rattle at tickover that matches engine speed as you rev it. Spoke to my local bike repair place and they reckon it could be oil pickup blocked. Dropped the sump today and found more clutch in the sump and here's the gauze on the pickup So scrapped the oil in there that's done about 5 miles cleaned the gauze new oil filter and fresh oil and tada gunk left in the petrol I cleaned it with Good news though, no rattles ! Hopefully not too much damage done

Cheers H, not a spring washer but some mastic from a bolt hole Last guy used black mastic with no gasket to seal the sump plate last time it was off. Last P2 engine I stripped had been worked on by CD scooters and was full of hylomar, it was inside the gearbox, clutch, everywhere Hate the stuff I usually blob grease on the paper gasket to hold it in place and it's always worked for me

Yesterday I was mostly scooting about Epping Forest with my mate on his bike being stoked at how well the scooter is running and wish it had more go! Still not to the bottom of the starting issue but it goes from 0 - 55 without missing a beat.

Today I have mostly been.... Checking out my replacement Carbone rear shock and drum kit cymbal spare wheel cover ( both fine and dandy ), which came when I was in Hospital yesterday, nothing was found, by the way, which was nice.๐๐๐
Also my wife has been coughing small amounts of blood for the last 10 weeks! After various tests and the Doctor saying she hopes it's not lung cancer, we got the results today, No cancer, thank God, but the Consultant thinks it's Pleurisy and has given her a course of medicine, that put's worrying about scooters into perspective. Ride safe. Jimโบ

Today I've mostly been... Thanking sime66, for returning my TTO gauge and sensor, he also gave me some of his own brand sensors to have a fiddle with, which is very much appreciated.๐ Will be going in my shed shortly to refit the gauge etc and will hopefully get my new rear carbone shock, top rubber block and shortened spacer fitted.( hope it's short enough as is and no fettling will be needed, to stop the carb box hitting the frame, as the flat LTH read valve fits under the carb box, making the box sit higher and hit the frame! (On mine)Also can't wait to hear how the 200 'O' tuned barrel will sound with my new?( had it a year, never fitted it yet) scootopia big bore Vespa exhaust fitted. All the best. Jim. P.S, I reserve the right to change any or all plans to do with working on this scoot,if the hunt for the parts, nuts and bolts etc turns into a frustrating major expedition, as can happen when trying to get these wee jobs done! Never fails, got visitors just as I was about to take my scoots out of my shed to work on. Now getting hit with baby sitting my Grandson, to let my Daughter and Son-in-Law go shopping in peace. Thinking about taking a break from the forum for a few weeks? and working on tidying my shed and getting some work done on my full frame, with a view to hopefully getting it MOTed sometime next month. Hope to maybe? have enough done to at least, start a wee thread. Also have 2 standard p/px200e barrel's to port scooterotica style at the exhaust, so maybe? have enough for another wee thread. All the best and ride safe. Jimโบ
