heres why when ya buy a new scoot ya give it a good check before riding home . an heres the guy with a roasted bum ,an yes that is a "welcome to crawley " sign scoots chained too. an what did he do next , made me drive him to colchester 2 days later to buy this . so he can do this to it . an thats a 37bhp LI engine in it ,made the 150 mile journey worth it just to hear it n see it wheelie up n down the road .H

heres why if ya think ya clutch has gone funny you investigate . IMG-20170711-00067 by henri briggs, on Flickr . an thats a t5 crank ,so £160 + 30 for fly-side bearing ,plus seals bearings an gaskets . scoot went funny a month ago, mate got me to mot it on monday as he's due away on friday ,rode it 2 mile there an 2 back an pulled clutch to investigate its oddness . H

Henri, that LD special is SWEEEEET 👌👍. I've said for years, if I was to have another wambwetta😉, I'd have to build one similar to that, Love it. Never seen a T5 crank as bad as that, at least you got back home on it👍. Seen a good few well f*cked at the Woodruff key slot and had to get a new slot cut in on the other side of the shaft! , Luckily the clutch side slot placement makes no difference to anything. Strangest crank I've took out is : mate had a tuned DR 177, similar to sime, was quick but went noisey, split engine and the competition crank was cracked on one of the webs at the bigend pin!
