Doc sent me for an urgent chest xray ! Would have been a 15 mile round trip to nearest hospital but no xrays after 4 pm at that one, , had to go on a 45 mile round trip to the next nearest one that does xrays till 8pm! Just home, black lab and Scottie dog to walk now, then a hunt for the scooterotica porting link when I get back in. πππ And i thought i was having a bad day , hope all is ok

Nickbr71,I spit brown stuff when I get up in the morning, Doc thought it's acid reflux as had it bad for a few years, yesterday she hits me with it could be blood from my lungs!I see my stomach Professor on Tuesday, will find out then. Yes it can be done after a rebore if do it from the outside in, so to speak, that way if your porting tool slips it won't score the bore. unscrew the exhaust stub and take a wee bit off at a time. You could also do it with hand files or riffler files, as recommended in some moto x tuning sites, as your less likely to take too much off or damage the bore if you slip. I should add, chamfer and polish the port to finish off, in case anyone else tries this. π
Hope that helps Jim ππ

You can do it with the stubb fitted as long as the files or cutting tools are long enough to reach.
There's a lot to be said for keeping it standardπππ.
Ride safe

Well it lives stayed with 57 stroke in the end ,20 miles of running in so far and it feels good . Exhaust port looks like it may have been opened already not sure , anyway not been past half throttle yet and plug colour is perfect , but that may change when I get to full throttle . Currently has a 124 main with a fast flow tap and 24mm carb and reedvalve , seire pro flowed crank and sip road 2 , any suggestions on jetting would be good . Cheers mick

I would usually go as big a main jet as 128/130( maybe bigger? Due to jetting paranoia lol ),then come down,
with careful plug chops, but I' m not keen on giving any jetting advice without having the scoot in front of
me ( some will have noticed this, but I would help if you or anyone was really stuck π). Pxguru is the man who is SH?T hot at carb jetting on here!π.
Keep us posted, mate.
Glad it's up and running.π
Jim.

Sometimes just SH?T. I would run it in with at least a 140 main jet and a little extra oil in the tank. The spluttering will stop you thrashing it.
