hi all,
my vespa gt runs on synthetic oil,
is there a reason for this ,its vespa specified,
what apart from the obvious,way its made is the difference,or is just another advert hype.

modern 4 stroke gt needs synthetic oil ,the one specified by piaggio . older 2 strokes were made for mineral oil ,as thats all there was back then . on a stock/hack i use mineral , tuned i use semi synth . H

You mean engine oil - synthetics are a more stable and keep the engine cleaner - as long as you change it when your at its service limits you shouldn't have any problems.
