Just wondering what the best exhaust is for a standard P2 engine? I'd rather not mess around with anything as I don't have a clue about jetting and timing etc. It's a plain standard P2 no kits or anything.
I heard about the SIP road 2 is good for standard engines? I'm looking for more speed without having to mess about with any carbs or jet settings.. If possible, thanks

get this months scootering ,theres a p2 exhaust test/shoot-out in it .but for me i'd say stick a road2 on an go up on the main jet ,if its pre-mix it should be a 118 main , go to a 120 . if auto-lube a 116 go to a 118 . leave the rest alone an you'll be happy with it .H

Avoid stainless steel on a scooter that is used a lot. They look pretty but tend to crack and fall of when you least expect it!

carb box lid off , filter off ,2 screws each , top of carb 2 brass screw heads ,larger 1 unscrew , at end little nipple with hole thru side an tiny numbers on,thats ya main jet ,read numbers 116/118 add 2 =118/120 ,pull it out its a tight fit , get new size jet n push in an reverse dismantling procedure . only hard bit is to get carb box lid screws to start again ,its fiddly . bingo ,youve just upjetted . Hey Henri, sorry for bugging you with questions but would you be able to link to jets I could buy from Beedspeed or somewhere? I'd appreciate it a lot. I see them with all different numbers so not sure which to buy to go with the SIP Road 2 exhaust

I'd get a 122 as well if you're ordering. 120 wasn't big enough for mine (standard PX200 with SIP Road), 122 is perfect. I've had people tell me that even 122 is nowhere near big enough! I know that they are all different, but if you are ordering one, for a few quid extra get the other as well.

Also, reading your first post, don't expect much more in the way of top speed. What you will get with that set up is noticeably more pulling power in the mid range and only maybe 2 or 3 more MPH.

as robjack says , but personally never gone more than 1 size up when doing this, but ordering the nxt size up as rob says is only 2-3 quid more an saves havin to wait on postie again an pay 3 quid more postage on a 3 quid item . your a "scooterist" ,havin a might be useful 1 day/spares stash is traditional ,an if you dont use it 1 of ya mates might ,an then owe ya a large favour .H
