Hi chaps, Looking at changing my fuel tap as I am getting a bit of bogging at low to medium speeds and also WOT. Opinions on which one is best would be much appreciated.

Sounds to me like your carb needs a tweaking more than anything. It maybe your main jet is too large.
Whats the motor/carb/pipe etc? And what jets are you using?
Personally, ive had two BGM taps and both did not work so well due to there being no breather tube
The SIP has the breather and works much better but some say it does not totally shut off fuel. Although i have no problems with the two i have fitted.
A stock tap will supply enough fuel to a mildly tuned 200

There are some other guys on here with similar set ups. With a 20-20 and a sito plus id imagine a slightly smaller MJ?
Be careful of course!
I still think its the carb that needs setting up a little better
A fas flow tap would not help the bogging in low or hi revs in the slightest.

Cheers mate will look into the jetting side. Would a larger carb make much difference?

it would burn more fuel an give no more mph , mark 1 sip taps were crap, but sip mark 2's with low fuel are better , use to reccomend bgm over sip but a friends recent experience is now directing me to say sip over bgm , but honestly unless youve got to have a proper tune to need more than stock tap will provide , H

My Dr 180 is on a 116 main on a 20/20 ran OK on sterling pipe runs sh*t hot on the simonini pipe I'm on a standard Px fuel tap one without reserve you don't need fast flow bgm or sip taps on basic upgrades it's a waste of cash unless you porting matching changing cranks then you will find a 200 engine is cheaper and not likely to blow up

...................then you will find a 200 engine is cheaper and not likely to blow up Unless you start to tune it and try to make it go 0 - 60mph in less than 10seconds!!! Hahahahha :embarrassed face:
