Readings look good Either trim the end, if the ht lead is long enough or just replace it, its cheap and simple enough

as vespaco says , just cut a 1/2" of end with snips an then use something pointed to open/splay out the copper middle ,so your sure the screws going up the middle of copper an has a good connection . an whilst its off meter it to be sure its good ,when back on cdi remove plug cap n check it sparks from wire to cases ,then cap back on an try a plug on it .that eliminates ht cap failure an if plug wont spark try a new plug, before junking cap n replacing .H

An update. I trimmed back the ht lead, made sure it has a good connection on cdi still no spark at all, either with suppressor cap or without...

Does your igition turn on? Anything light up?
Im not sure if this will work on your set up (it works on older models) but try disconnecting the end green wire on the cdi. This may rule out a short circuit somewhere in the on/off circuit.
So to recap....youve changed: Plug, cap, ht lead, cdi, checked stator - ok, Is it possible you have sheared the flywheel woodruff key?

Hello vespasco. I tried the end green wire out, but still no spark. I have not physically checked the stator but the readings from the wires all look good. If the woodruff key was sheared, this would mean the flywheel would not turn when kicking over would it not? But I have not checked this either.. I am off away early tomorrow, so I wont be able to do anything else to the bike now until Christmas unfortunatly.. I was hoping to get her running before I go.. Oh well.. Thanks for all the input, very much appreciated..

vespasco. An update. I took off the flywheel to double check wires and routing of wires from stator plate. Looked ok, I thought I would change the flywheel back to the original one I had as I put a lightended one on not so long ago. Although the bike has run with the lightened flywheel, anyway, boom, spark and she started... I think I may have put the lightened on wrong, it has a dual keyway, one for PK and one for PX. Schoolboy error on my part I think. I didnt think of checking this in the first place. Got her going but alas no decent ride as I am off out of the country.. But a big thanks anyway, unless you mentioned it with the keyway shear I would probably be still pulling what little hair I have out with the wiring.... Again thanks...

Cut 1/2 inch off lead and try again , should screw on and stay there.
Cheers.
Sorry you know this already, didn't read full post !

Excellent. Checking the flywheel was next on the list! Along with the wiring. Enjoy
* edit, (the flywheel would/may still turn without the woodruff key, but wouldnt necessarily spin with the crank.

The new stator might of cured Rab's bogging down and starting problems as well.
