I'm going to invest in a new 22 tooth clutch for my 1984 PX125E but which one should I go for? The old type 6/7 springs or should I go for the new type cosa?engine has a 177 kit on,mazzy race crank,24/24 carb,lightened flywheel,sterling pipe and ported to suit,any ideas?cheers folks

old 1's take more abuse an are cheap , cosa's are easier at bar end ,if "investing" look at banded cosa's , will take output of engine fine ,H

Whichever you go for (Mk1 for me), remember to get a drive cog that's one tooth more than you're running (I'm slightly drunk so can't remember what you want - 22? Make sure it's for a P125 anyway)

If I remember rightly I went up already from a 20T to a 21T,which do you think is best? 6 or 7 springs and 3 or 4 plates?cheers

Three plate, in my experience the four plates don't last very long and aren't needed.

as nik says ,often with 4 plate set ups they can drag as not enough space in basket to separate fully without fettling , an good to see the "management" back among us , rally season/house move must be nearly done , welcome back boss , i for 1 have missed ya , H
