If one has a lambretta front wheel and vespa rear wheel which do you carry as a spare. I was thinking to chop it off to reduce weight. Or weld on plate to make a place for tool roll, mini pump and spare inner tube. Only thing thats bolts on will be voltage regulater rectifier gizmo . No indicators or toolbox(not got patience to cut and shut one to fit) as its cutdown. Whats the big square rubber mount on leftside inside spare wheel holder for. It seams bit big for wire cable guide. Ttfn

I'd go the tool roll route with a couple tubes. The square rubber mount sounds like an indicator relay holder.

Yeah im floating along tool box route. Cut along back of rear angle mount and back to rear. If one could remove front angle mount and move it forward could make mount for decent toolbox. Wheel shaped option is obvious would help counter balance engine. But using a toolbox or container from something else would be simpler or blank metal wheel tin . Suggestions welcome

In one of the recent scootering mags a guy made a aux fuel tank out of a sauce pan and lid. find the right size you'd have a decent 8-10 inch round 6 inch deep tool box. A little cutting and welding would give a nice size tool box.

Yeh, spare tube and a little bike hand pump will do you fine in an emergency, would sit nice where the spare wheel mount is.

Ive a mini footpump from lidls somewhere. A couple tyre levers, mini can wd40 lub and spare inner tubesx2. Toolroll too. 21mm ring spanner for lammifronthub. I mean like who has a 21 mm ring spanner i dont even have 21mm socket , goes 20 22 24 in my fancy pants 1/2" socket set. No Im going to get a mini torque wrench and sockets and bit of pipe for a bar. Spot quiz whats the torque settings for hubnuts, wheel nuts and big 21mm fork nuts. Im even gonna sharpie them and tyre pressures on frame somewhere. And if you think thats obsessive go on ebay and buy yourself some more shiny lamps and mirrors, youll feel better.
