The main grey connector block under horn casting is missing a few bits, bearing in mind its cutdown and has no indicators only cut off wires. From top six pin connector missing. Lights? Next 2nd two pin connector to ignition. Next 3rd three pin connector only two wires. Which is bundled in with four pin connector in fourth place and goes to speedo. There is a spare lilac or purple wire with an individual connector coming down from headset in this bundle, not sure what its for, horn ? Next is five pin connector missing. Next 3 pin connector missing, but no wires or pins on loom side either? Anyone help fill me in. Ttfn

Here's the blocks behind the horncover:
Here's where the wires go:
(You'll notice that on my wiring diagram the order of the wires to the blocks [27] are the same as on the scooter). Your odd lilac/purple goes to the speedo wiring – for high beam warning; don't know why it has its own connector.

Awesome. odd wire . In pic of speedo wiring there are two grey terminal connecters and third single white one im wondering about. Im assuming wiring for horn is on lights cable assembly? Ps what type of speedo do i need are several on ebay grey faced and black.

The odd wire off the speedo terminal [26], which should be lilac not white, connects to the odd lilac wire on the light switch [6] – you can see it on my wiring diagram. You should also be able to tell from the image above and the wiring diagram, which wires off the light switch go to horn (blue & yellow spades) , to headlight (Black, white, brown, lilac spades), and to terminal block. - there's only one other wire going directly from speedo to switch, which is the one I think you mean. As fas as which speedo; that's going to depend on your headset and which terminal you have on the back of the speedo. The above info and colours are correct for mine, which is '83 (early EFL speedo – I think the modern grey speedo has same connection), which matches your first description of your horncover terminal block, if you have older or non-original it might be why your colours and wires might be different, in which case I think you'll have to look at Haynes or Scooterhelp for an older wiring diagram and go from there. What was yours before it was cut-down? Model? Year? From your first post it sounds the same as mine (EFL speedo), but if you have an odd white wire you might need to check; maybe photos showing which ones you're unclear on, if you are still unclear......

I defo have parts as in pics. Still wooly on spare connector from speedo under horn cover.its hard to see in pic but are 3 connectors two grey one white. If there is a connector at bottom of light switch bundle could connect to it.

That's it; the spare (white plastic) spade connection on the speedo bundle connects to the spare (white plastic) spade connector on the light switch bundle – it is the full beam warning light and should be lilac (as shown as single lilac connection between switch and speedo on wiring diagram). I've ringed them in green on this screenshot as well to clarify:

How do you tell what colour the wires are when covered in various shades of overspray. Bit of scratchy kitchen cloth will make it all good. Just missing the light switch bundle. Will look at engine end and spare wheel side tomorrow. Get it straight in head as frame should be finished and topcoated in next day and can start bolting everything back to frame. Ttfn

will not need wire colours at horncast end ,plugs only fit oneway ,for under side panel a cloth with thinners or meths will clean em up fine with no damage to insulation , engine sides just a 2 wire plug an 3 wires to cdi , with a extra single wire (green)from outside green connecter on cdi to single green from loom for killswitch/ignition off .plugs a purple n black for power to reg box an earth . Engine Side:Black to stator black Blue to stator blue Green to outside conn on CDI Spare Wheel Side (differs from Henri's *note the white*):
Black – spade to regulator, brass connection under regulator bolt. Yellow to regulator – tell us the letters on reg Light green (grey?) to regulator – tell us the letters on reg White (flasher front) isolate don't use, Red (flasher rear) isloate don't use, Green link – spade – (a/c to flasher) isolate don't use BUT... Other light green (grey?) continues back out – to Rear brake light, so leave bright green link between the wires, but isolate other spade.
Those two light green (grey?) wires are AC for heasdset and AC for brake light, the link/spade is just a connection for the flasher; it's that light green (grey?) wire, though, that connects into last conn on regulator, not the white.
See attached mark-up, which shows where wires would go and which ones you don't need.
