hot water ,washing up liquid n elbow grease , rinse off with loads of clean water as washing up liquid has salt in it to soften water , then a rag n wipe over with "panel wipe" , if theres signs the scoot has been polished in the past with a silicon polish you need to get "silicon off" ,a specilist remover as sanding just drives silicon into paint an it cant be over-painted , an if theres grit/dirt embedded in paint a rub with a "clay" detailing bar will get it out ,otherwise sandpaper can pick it up n scratch the surface .ruining all ya hard work , H

I would wash in down with panel wipe fisrt but you can use petrol, after that a scotch brite with water and washing up liquid will totally degrease it.

Parrafin! It doesn't catch fire so easily and can be filtered to re-use. I am not tight I am careful with money!

I dont have a pressure washer so went to my local garage and used their jet wash. Worked a treat to get most of it clean
