Hi all, I've got petrol leaking from the cap on my recently rebuilt PX EFL. The tank and cap were recently repainted (it's the old efl type) so I'm guessing it's either a blocked breather( where is it), knackerred rubber, or the paint on the edge of the tank lip. Before I go through a painful process of elimination, has anyone else had similar problems. Thanks Chris

replace the cap seal its buggered you would know if it was the tank breather as your scoot would die when riding same if it were tap filter. i wouldn't bother messing with the seal for what the cap costs its not worth bothering changing the seal

I have leaky tank cap, if I fill too much fuel. Less fuel, no more leakages. Tank cap should not be immersed in fuel, or it will suck some fuel out from the tank. That's how I see it.
Breather is integrated in tank cap.
