Sticking a cut down tube/tyre in the tyre is ok if you never go no more than 30mph and dont mind the odd bump everytime the wheel goes round. But i can tell ya, its still not entyrely puncture proof. I still got flats and the tube starts to spin round in the tyre! But then again the tyres were only good for wheel barrows! (This was in asia)

Punctures are punctures. Some people get them, some people dont. Some have big ones :0 some have small ones (yikes!) Sometimes this stuff will work, sometimes it wont. Sometimes it will work long enough to get you home. Sometimes youll fit the spare which is a king great design!! The best way to resolve a flat tyre for sure. Theres no miracle cure to never have another puncture, especially not for £5.99 a bottle.
But ive seen an instant puncture repair 'spray' for £2.99! wow! No more punctures for just £2.99!! Sign me up! Reminded me of Batman and Robin with their Bat-Flattery Spray, or was it their Bat-Shark Repellent Spray...? Either way, its a miracle!! Hahahah

I'm on tubeless (SIP rims) and it only occurred to me the other day that I wouldn't know how to re inflate a tubeless tire if it went fully flat. Could you use an ordinary foot pump or would you need one of those air jets you get in a garage, in order to get enough air in very quickly to make the seal? I ask because I've got a bottle of goop (was going to put it in my tubed spare) and reading this thread makes me want to put some in my tubeless tires. But if I have to pull the valve out, would I be able to re inflate with a foot pump?

the tyre wont pop off the shoulders of rim when deflated ,thats what makes changing tubeless tyres so much fun???. so a foot pump will re-inflate it ok . H

I'd got it into my head that you have to really blast air into them to get a seal but as you say, they're designed not to go over the shoulder. I'm gonna goop em good
