Hi All,
i expect this has already been covered but here goes any way. i am wanting to remove the auto lube from my PX with Dr180 kit so i can premix, is there anything that needs changing or can i just pull the pipe and block up the hole on the carb box?
thanks in advance.

I guess pump may cause problems soon, if you don't remove pump gears? Pump is lubricated by 2 stroke oil, I think.

pull pump aswell as vertical gear shaft ,drive at bottom can be left behind clutch , an beedys an sip sell a ali block to silicon seal in the hole created , or a jaunt to local metal yard/B&q or bolt shop an a quick hacksaw gives a blanking plug , or even them plastic caps that cover screw heads in furniture .so long as it fits an will stop gearbox/clutch breathing into carb box rather than out the breather . you can do it as rab says but eventually unless you pull the larger drive cog behind clutch the pump as partenen says will eventually give trouble . an most important ,switch to a pre-mix carb box ,or non-auto lube carb gaskets ,so oil feed hole is blocked from inlet ,or it will suck air there n run lean .
