spaco carb n either dellorto jets or spaco genuines , dellorto carbs are made under licence in the spaco factory , so why pay more just coz carb bodys got dellorto written on it , ive heard of people paying top dollar for genuine dell's from dell-uk , an then gettin annoyed coz it turns up in a spaco box with spaco on the carb , whats wrong with old carb ,cant it be fixed , if only a dell will do for you how about a 2nd hand carb from e bay , or a wanted advert on here , H

Personally, I'd just buy a second hand dellorto.. what size are you looking for, 20mm?

sounds like fuel starvation if it will start after being left with tap on for a hour , pull top of carb float bowl an see if fuels flowing freely through the needle valve an stops when float is lifted , if theres just a tiny trickle theres a blockage in carb top ,might be clearable by taking needle valve out an blowing thru with compressed air ,if that dont clear it i'd suspect a casting fault or poorly machined carb top , in that case return the carb to seller or request to swap the top as its faulty ,or try your old top as that wasnt where it was leaking from , H

would you believe it was intermittent fault on the cut out switch, when checking sparkplug not touching handlebars when trying to kickstart holding on to them , discovered by my mate in 5 mins, left to my own devices id have the bike stripped down.Little knowledge very dangerous
