My new Conti Move 365 tyres arrived yesterday and plan on swapping them tomorrow. I know i'm supposed to use tyre paste but it doesn't look like you can buy it anywhere. So question, does anyone use any alternatives they would recommend. I've heard washing up liquid is fine, then read others say don't use it at all. Soap flakes are supposed to work but again cant find anywhere that sells them.
I wanted to do this myself rather than taking it somewhere.
I'm sticking with tubes & split rims for now.

you don't need any sort o' paste pal...if you mean you struggle getting them apart ...just squirt some wd40 inbetween the tyre & rim & leave for 1/2 hour

At least Michelin S83 is so tight fit that fitting paste would be good. Makes things easier.

Nice one, I'll give it a go without, failing that a bit of wd40. Just don't want a half finished job and a scooter out of action for a couple of days.

Well, 1st week with the new Conti 365 M&S tyres and it snowed in Leeds this morning. The snow didn't settle but was very wet yet my new tyres handled very well. A massive upgrade on the save b14's the new vespa's come with.
