I'm totally rebuilding my PX200E disc in prep for the new year and expecting the body back from the painters this week, but am struggling to find one part.
Where the front engine mount bolt goes through the frame, only on the bolt head end, there is a hard plastic bush or grommet. Does anyone know what the technical name for this part is, and/or where I could get one.
I've phoned round a few scooter shops but they dont appear to understand what part I am referring to.
Thanks in advance

Is this what you're talking about? This is my 1979 p200e, the engine pivot bolt hole has what looks like a really thick washer welded to the body(it is definitely steel). As stated in other posts, a picture would help.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about - i had taken a picture of one from my other scoot, but as you have already doen so - thanks.
Any Idea where I can get one - I was at Kettering Parts Fair yesterday but no success - and only one dealer knew what I ment, and agreed that it is more of a grommet than a bush.
But is is not welded as it's made of hard plastic

Hi xcbrito,
I think someone may have put that plastic bush/washer in there.
I dont know if you have a Haynes workshop manual but on page 58 there is a clear photograph of the bolt fitting into the hole and the METAL bush is clearly welded as part of the frame. I can try to send the image to you but it shows exactly what jedihunter has shown above. Are you sure the long bolt is the correct one? Could smoeone have used a thinner bolt and tried to make up the difference with the plastic bush you have?...Just a guess thats all.
