Cheers guys,,, It' s been very satisfying doing all the work myself but worrying also knowing I've done it and not a pro ! I've not had a real chance of doing many miles but been round the block few times and so far so good, won't really know how it run's until I hit the open road and give it some wellie. However have noticed a huge difference in the compression since changing the piston rings and gaskets & torque on the nuts.

at least you know its done right with quality bits coz you did it, some pro's cut corners an use pattern parts but charge for genuine , ive done a few an still worry every time til i hear em run ,then i worry more til there run in an settled , but i still smile on that first fire up,makes it worth it , dont forget ya got to go round an check/re-torque stuff after ya first thrash n at about 250 miles , prob not today tho if weathers same your side of the hill , wet n windy, not a day for a thrash up portsdown hill eh , H
