If you can use a screwdriver and a spanner go for it. I m not sure of the exact ins and outs of your model but i think you would need to at least be able to unscrew and take off the top section of the handle bars to access the speedo. Im sure someone else will be able to give more detailed info than i can should you need it.

pretty much same as px 1's , if changing outer aswell , take inner out the top n slip back in from bottom ,withdraw outer up top leaving old inner in, n stick new outer over inner n use it to guide as ya feed it down , if old inner is snapped too short use the new one but wipe any dirt off with a oily rag before stickin it in the new outer , an when puttin top back on headset careful when doin screws up as its easy to crack the plastics or twist of the lugs, when screws are out feed speedo cable back up fork leg n that will push headset top up enuff to get fingers in an release speedo cable ,when re-fitting pull speedo cable down the leg to settle headset top back down an just lightly nip up the screws , H

Cheers 4 the info but I'm bein a lazy ballix and take it 2 a brilliant scooter mechanic (old skool scooters, Bangor, northen ireland). I got the complete cable kit from twisted rods. They were brilliant. Delivered in 24 hours.
