I use Liverpool Victoria, costs about $50 fully comp. Useful being 52 with maximum no claims and a four bike policy. My daughter is 20 and costs £250 FC as a learner on 100cc Peugeot twist and go. Always used LV and find them really useful and helpful. Google 'FRIZZELL' for results.
ebikeinsurance.co.uk £84 for my GP200 on a classic policy includes breakdown and legal, £105 for my 02 PX Disc 200 also includes breakdown and legal, comprehensive cover on both. Just a shame they can't cover classic (before 1970) and modern on the same policy.

got mine from swinton for £231 TPFT for my 02 PX125 with £900 protective gear cover(eg,helmet, jacket.ect) an a courtesy scoot aswel for when its in repair from an accident ad brake down cover i think. bare in mind i am 17. thats with a 1 year no claims aswel
TPFT (and roadside recovery) for £271.75 with MCE . My postcode isn't very good when it comes to insurance and that was the best I could get by a mile.
Is due for renewal in a few weeks, am hoping to get better quotes this time round as I now have 2 years no claims. Last time I didn't have any as there was an outstanding issue stopping me getting my first years no claims bonus, this has now been resolved as they never had to pay out. Also, I was only on a provisional license last time round.
A couple of questions -
What's the norm for covering accessories? I've a couple of racks and a lot of parts substituted for chrome ones.
And what effect on the insurance would adding a kit and a different pipe on at a later date?
Carol Nash £190. covers the LML with £100 excess and The GP for £25 excess. both fully comp. with 4 years bike no claims, protected NCB , legal cover and AA Bennetts are cheaper but it usually takes em 3 go's to get the cover note right. Hate to see what a pigs ear they make of a claim.
Renewed yesterday with the post office. Renew existing policy with Bennets £380 , last year I think it was about 250. Excess 450 on the T5 and 150 on the others. Quote from Carole Nash £280, with 150 excess on every scooter. Post office £200.43 with 250 excess on every scooter.
Ah, 4 scooters on the policy, three 125s and a 200. Fully comp.
Just renewed with ebike. Fully comp on a PX200 with no excess and breakdown cover included, £108. Would have been £105 if opted for £100 excess, bit of a no brainer really. Can't really complain at that.
Dan: Their website had a dropdown menu with loads of things like accessories which you tick. Not sure how it would affect the final figure, might be worth doing a dummy quote to see. I'm tempted to do one and tick the nitrous oxide box to see what difference it makes. ;D
just got my renewal im on cbt so pay through the nose they wanted 224 for my dragster and ts what i find absolute bolix is i carnt have a classic policy as im on cbt 4 years no claimns no claims in 15 years of driving!
living in benchil dont do no favours i suppose i got the worst post code you can have
ok so last year was 107 pounds with bennets who just sent me renewal quote of....... wait for it.............................................271 pounds for the same cover!!!! just went on a comparison site n got it for 58 lovely pounds!!!!!!
bennets are useless quick to take your money but pretty crap when you need them, i would rather pay more money than use them
Ditto. I thankfully never had to make a claim, but their general lack of care & inability to send out the correct paperwork without having to be badgered repeatedly means I'd rather not deal with them again.
They make a big deal about having a UK-based call centre, but no-one really cares where the call centre is based as long as the staff are polite and efficient - unfortunately the ones I spoke to were neither.
Has anyone had a multiple bike policy like the ones Carole Nash does? Did it work out cheaper than insuring them all separately? My lot are an odd bunch (see below) so what are the chances of getting such a policy for classic and non-classic scooters?
UPDATE: I rang CN this morning and I've got all four insured fully comp on a multi bike policy with change out of £220. My renewal for the Burgman alone was £120 and this policy has a lower excess and includes breakdown cover - well pleased

I would agree with previous posts that Bennetts are useless.Paid in full by card, then got a letter telling me how much i owed and i wouldn't be covered unless i paid quickly.! With Bikesure now, seem much better and cheaper.
fully comp for £93 with breakdown and helmet cover not bad eh??
untill i realise im not covered for comute so tell them and they charge me another £37 to ammend my policy
then tell me i didnt tell them i had 3 points (sp30) even though they had my licence from the start another £43 to ammend my policy
Had a splill bank holiday monday rang them no worries we will ring you back!! They didnt so i rang them bering in mind i had a snapped collar bone hole in my hip you could hide a pack of fags in and concussion
ebike sent me to adern then to southern rock then to alderhern then a company called cosport then to one called 4th dimension who wrote it off because it was scratched???
i asked my mechanic what the asseser did he walked into garage stood about 5ft from it and wrote it off wtf?? i rang and asked what qualifications does he have to assess vespa's, none!!! he dont do scooters.
Old thread I know, but you never really know how good your insurance co. is until a claim is made. Hasting were awful when my VTR 1000 went up the road. Wrote it off (which was fair enough due parts expense) BUT WOULD NOT let me have the bike back. Two days before it'd had a brand new rear tyre and tapered head bearing set. Engine ran fine and I'd ridden the bike back from the accident site some twenty miles so all damage was just cosmetic (fairings, mirrors etc. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Now with Carole Nash as have a multi bike policy with m/c's and scoots. Mind you I had to haggle and got them down 30ukp over what they wanted to charge me so???
