Is it normal that some fuel enters at the bottom of carb bowl? And then it leaks thru mixture screw rubber and mess up the engine with fuel.
First I thought it's oil as I have had some leaking problems, but now I found out it's fuel.
I have 122 main jet, could it be too large? Engine cannot suck that much fuel maybe?
I could try 120 main jet but I cannot find it at the moment.

at tickover most scooter carbs spit-back a bit ,but if its pooling in carb tray enuff to leak out the mixture screw thats a bit too much , more likely to be the pilot jet is too large than ya mainjet , on pilots ya divide big number by little , ie 46/140=3.04 , smaller the number the richer the jet , you can usually tell when pilot jets wrong by the adjustment of mixture screw , more than 3-3.5 turns out needs richer jet, screwed right in or it doesnt make much difference adjusting it needs leaner , H

or you just have a bit of a seep from the float needle valve not shutting off the fuel fully..

Do you mean when the fuel tap is off it leaks fuel through the mix adjuster screw? Its likely a sticking float/un clean needle tip Are the threads damaged on the mix screw? As no fuel or air shpuld be able to pass through the screw Are your jets seated correctly? Im not sure what you mean by the bottom of the carb bowl? Float bowl chamber? What engine is it? Sounds like you have the opposite problem to most - not fuel starvation but fuel , erm, fuel devoury??!

I don't know exactly when it leaks. Rarely anyway, and not much really. I thought it's spitting when engine runs, but can mixture screw leak? Or is there O-ring which can be changed? Jets are seated. It's PX 200 and I thought the bowl under carburettor is called carb bowl. I took a picture to express myself more clearly: Excessive fuel comes out between mixture screw and grommet.

Long shot since this is back from 2014 but.... Did you get to the bottom of this? I have the same issue. As suggested I think my float might be sticking... Will have a play about and see if I can fix it or if it needs replacing.
Still know nothing about all this engine stuff but really enjoying the learning curve.

Hmmmm. That might be worth a check too. fingers crossed the rain holds off tonight so I can have a poke about. Gonna re-build the carb soon when I get a SIP2.0+ so not to worried about it but if it's something obvious I'd like to get it sorted.
