Never seen one of them on any Vespa..
Do you have the ones which come out through the headset with the silly short storks?
On my P2 I use the Cuppini one which bolts to the mount holes under the headset, much tidier and you can actually see out of it (I only have one fitted, which is enough).
Fold out stadium ones are good, but the fitting is not ideal on the PX as the tool box gets in the way to mount it properly.

they come out through the headset with the long stalks.
I am looking for something shorter and having looked at the Cuppini ones you have mentioned I might well go for a set of those

I've got something similar on mine but they are attached using the bracket which bolts under the headset with rubber grommets filling the holes on the top. Much nicer, and lower, than the big sticky up ones. I got them from SIP - www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/mirror+tnt+f1+millenium+_ac209046 - and rubbed them down and resprayed them body colour. They are also a lot cheaper than those you linked.

first off,if the seller aint giving you a straight answer on there fitting he's either so rich he dont care about taking your money,so spend it where its appreciated. or he dont know/knows the answer will put you off giving him your money.either way walk away. the underneath brackets are cheap an allow you to fit allsorts of different mirrors ,my super has a cute little left-hand zip100cc 1 on as i like the shape .you can go to nearest bike/scoot breakers an ask to look through there mirror pile an see the mirror in the flesh an check chrome an arm length/angle for your scoot.my mate was lucky having a mot at the same time a ducatti that had fallen off its side stand came in for insurance work,1 tiny mark on the mirror meant both got written off,10 quid to the "mechanics beer fund charity" an he's got 2 of the cutest mirrors, that look like cats eyes shape from front an give a good veiw behind as a bonus ,fancy vibration dampers hidden in the arms means even at tickover they dont shake at all. back again, when you ordered these did they come with the mounting brackets or did you need to buy them seperately?

Those mirrors won't fit through the handlebar top. Also, unless you're a stick insect, you'll not be able to see anything other than your elbows in them.

ive never seen anything in a legshield mirror i'm afraid gaz ,apart from my own eye when doing fly removal. dont reckon bar end 1's much either, could be my lanky build or shortsightedness ,lammy 1's that fit on the lever pivot bolts are reckoned ok by a few mates of mine, but havent seen 1's made or converted to vespa's yet .were ever you put them, vibration makes em hard to see anything more than a vague shape,H

yep, agree the ones out of headset dont look good, they have to have long stems so ya can see past ya elbow an it makes em more prone to vibration.the thicker the rubber under the clamp the better seems to be the result when ive asked mates with them.1 to protect paint an to stop vibration.i think they work better on bretta's as the shape n form of leggys means they transfer less vibration's ,TV's excepted ,the first 1's rattle ya eyeballs never mind the mirrors. the mod'ish ones ive seen put up near top corner of leggy's rattle the worst ,as the leggys are thinnish an flex the most there, an ive always thought an been taught that mirrors have blind spots an distort the distance ,the mark 1 eyeball is safer n best ,have 1 mirror on all bikes scoots of mine ,just to glance in an keep a eye on whats coming up behind on scoot an what i just overtook on bike, but always turn my head an look for safety, lost count of the car drivers who've glanced in mirror an started to move over when i'm along side, the look of horror when i tap on there window is always hilarious.followed by disgusted when they realise which finger i'm tapping with.an side to side merging of a px an a gts aint going to win no prizes at a custom scoot show no matter how good ya paint it. Once you have em set right their fine. The legshield trim on the PX isn't as thick as on the Lam so I put some "draft excluder" type tape on the leggie to pack it out a bit so the clamp on the mirror grips tight. Even tho they sit low once you get used to em their good. I always have a quick glance over my shoulder tho to be safe.

'Tis true that you have to pull your elbow in to see behind, but that's better than... a) The big sticky up things and b) Nothing The brackets were a couple of quid from local dealer.

hi, i ws looking for the same thing , in the end i bought a pair of motorcycle bar end mirrors (9quid ebay) and fixed on to the toolbox side , the trouble with all these aftermarket mirrors is they are too short and you end up with a lovely viewe of your jacket and arm!! i even got a special bolt made up to go through the brake pivot and then attached a mirror to the top. same effect lovely jacket!!!!. think the legshield ones are best but my little budgie mirror on the toolbox does me!

Strangely enough that elbow only view issue is not an issue with my PX these days. Trickling through traffic IS an issue though. Bank Holiday Monday 2014 Margate

i like being predictable, that way when i aint it really catches you all out, an ya scoot shows it's character right out the box ,mirrors/screen/map rest/directions-phone bulldog clip/back rack all shout a long-distance/rally scoot thats been made to fit its owner with any failed experiments binned in the process.i always appreciate the thought an work that goes into such a process ,but have been shy of posting pic's of my efforts as my distance hacks are all bikes ,the scoot is for local dailys an a bit of style. still not sure of the stickers tho,but guess they keep rust/stone chips at bay ,an the paint will still be pristine under them , an honestly you did the set-up line an i just dared where vespaco shied off,no offence meant or taken eh, H

None taken! The stickers were originally covering up primered spots where it had been chipped, but I kind of got carried away! The black thing that snakes across the handlebars is a piece of stiff wire inside a foam sleeve which adds extra rigidity to the mirrors and also holds the sat nave in place if I twist a loop around the suction mount. The bulldog clip is the cheaper version as you surmise, clip directions to it- the one from the top is missing for some reason - and the gaffer tape was there for something similar, but I can't remember what now You can just see the bar end weights too, they're great, and the Utah screen keeps the rain and wind off nicely, but sucks dirt inside so that it has to be cleaned regularly. Out of sight is a water bottle mount from a pushbike mounted to the toolbox which just carries water for long runs... It remains cool due to wind movement. The only thing to be done immediately is get some heel plates made for the front of the panels, my default riding position should really have rearsets, but I hate them on a P range, and some sort of small front rack that I can mount a DC spotlamp on for when I'm camping. No doubt I'll think of more stuff eventually....

I'm thinking of getting the same and loosing the original mirrors.

I got sonething close to this, their week spot is where the arm connects to the base, with a small nut and spring. Not too stiff and might move inwards on high speeds.

Got a couple of grommets from Beedspeed now I'm going to remove these ugly mirrors off my 2013 Px 125. My query is that I've unscrewed the gland nut that secures the mirror stem and there is a threaded stump preventing me inserting the grommet. Can I just unscrew this as well or is it securing anything else? Cheers!
