Would it be okay to leave this wiring out as i dont have the switch for it. Wasnt sure if it affected the electrics.

Well im not to sure as its registered as 1998 t5. But it has an electric start px 125 engine on it.

Has to be fitted and working to any machine first registered after April 1 1986, so yes it will need one. It also has to be working when used on the road, but it's one of those things I've never heard of plod checking. www.motuk.com/bike/1-3.asp#Menu_Top First column, half way down.

Cheers for all the replies guys. How do i go about fitting this then. If i remeber correctly is it two cables u need for this. One of em being a little cable.

It's been years since I fitted a front brake switch to anything, but from memory, they slot over the end of the outer cable and butt up against the handlebar housing. When you pull the lever, the tensioning pulls the cable up against the bars and the pressure activates it.
I think that was how it worked... Although that may have been on a different bike!

If it's the type I think it is, you feed it through it before fastening the cable in place, so yes.
