Hi all, I have a 1991 PX200E with chrome side fairings. It is missing the badge on the right hand side fairing. Any advice on what it might have been? I have been looking at photos on the net but most of them seem to be a chrome 'Vespa'. I am thinking it is unlikely this would have had a chrome badge? There are two holes in the fairing that the badge would have clipped into so it is not one of those adhesive ones you see on eBay I suspect. Thanks in advance.

It was a chrome 'Vespa' badge. The sidepanels never came in a chrome option, so they will have been chromed at a later date and it seems the badge hasn't been replaced. You might be able to find a badge in a contrasting colour if you don't want chrome on chrome.

Rab, there isn't a fixed rule as to what badges were fitted, there were some with a similar badge to the legshield one around that time, although most were as you say.
Like so much with Vespa, there is more variation than you could possibly imagine!
