Buy a complete ME type headlamp. You'll need to change the lamp to fit the halogen anyway. the wiring is different but straight forward.

Seconded. I changed mine when the original got smashed (garage wall mounted cupboard fell on it. ). Piece of cake to do as well, just remember not to touch the bulb. You could try a damp cloth and some toothpaste on the speedo glass and give it a good McBuff. It works with small scratches as the toothpaste is a mild abrasive, but other than that, not sure about replacing it.

Ta chaps. The 1st link I put above was wrong, should have been www.gpsimports.com.au/products-details.php?productId=3202&search=product&productName=headlamp (Headlamp PX Halogen GB). Think there is something weird with the way their links work as they seem to change every now and again. They also have this one which is half the price, not sure what the difference is www.gpsimports.com.au/products-details.php?productId=1452&search=product&productName=headlamp (Headlamp Vespa PX200 Halogen) What's the ME type? Is it the modern Halogen one on Disc PX models? Will give the McBuff trick a go this wkend ;D Think it might be a right ball ache to replace as emailed GPS (Aussie supplier so save on postage, especially as SIP have a minimum order of 100 Euro I think) and they said they don't stock them because: "Sorry, no. We used to many years ago but they were nothing but trouble. The bezel is rolled on with a machine (you cannot seal it by hand) and we sent 3 off to a speedo specialist to do and their machine tore the bezel every time. They said the parts were too thin, much thinner material than the original, and so we gave up on the product."
