I think something blew this afternoon cos they were fine when I left work but riding in slow traffic the engine cut out and then the lights stopped working (headlight and tail). The vespa is running ok but I was wondering if something might have blown when the scoot stopped and that is connected to the lights. I don't know what to do. What do I do? Is there a simple answer, like tweaking the fuse box? Do i take it to a mechanic? How much will it cost and where do i go in central london?

check youre main fuse and also any earths that are around the lights, follow back the wiring, especialy the earth to see if you can find any problems, sometimes it is a very easy fix that a dealer will charge big for

The indicator lights are working, the petrol light is working, but the headlight/tail and dash lights are not. Would one bulb blowing short the whole thing, or is it something more sinister. As I said when I believe the lights went the vespa cut out and I had to start it up again.
