Bought this GS 150 last year as an abandoned restoration project, finally it's ready for MOT and registration.. It's a 1960 Augsburg model, lots of detail differences to the Italian GS150 and also the Messerschmitt GS 150.. most of which I didn't know about when I bought it! Colour is non standard, would have been a slightly lighter silver grey (darker than Italian GS silver), was not my choice of colour, but I love it ;D Hopefully on the road in a week or so!

That's two you've finished now - rub it in, why don't you? ;D The colour reminds me of a MkII Jag my Dad owned when I was very young, love it.

Thanks all ;D now MOT'd, just waiting for a reg plate..
I didn't post progress on this one Rudi, essentially I bought it as 'loosly' assembled with the engine in many pieces. I have re-done everything as it was a bit of a mess, engine has been rebuilt with rebore, new crank, bearings etc.
In the flesh the paint job is not mint, but I wanted to get it on the road, ride for a while then consider a proper rebuild with fresh paint sometime..
IMO the GS 150 is the best looking Vespa ever, hey, even the wife likes this one.. just a pity I can't get a backrest for it or we'd be using it for the IOW rally this summer..
My next project is already painted and awaiting assembly, a Serveta this time i'm afraid..
