Hi, Yorkshireranger here,
just logged onto your site, new to the scene, after almost 30 years absence, bought my first scoot back in the 70's, Gp200 AF stage 5 tuned for £875, newer Jets cost only £400 then. Bought myself GP last year, never got to ride it properly, so out of frustration bought the SX (175) and joined Leeds Crusaders S.C, sold the GP and bought the PX in August this year. The oldest daughter started attending the meetings and joined (minus scooter) fell lucky and bought her 3 year old ET2 with only 126miles for £500,due to Leeds City Councils potholes, paint job was necessary after accident damage, paint work was left to the imagination of DAVE KIER of Harrogate Incrowd, with a suggestion of a Union flag, this was his interpretation of the Union flag. Having got a large family (mainly girls) the bug has caught most of them, christmas is going to be an expensive time as the 16 year old is after her first scoot, all the kids love attending rallies, only trouble is you cant get 10 kids on any of the scoots that I own, will be needing to buy trailer to take scoots to next years rallies. Take care and ride safely Steve

Sounds like it's a good job you're back into scooters Steve, you've been needing a hobby for some time I'd suggest. Don't forget everyone, the real place to display photos of your pride and joy is on the Readers' Scooters page of the site: www.vespa.org.uk/Readers%20scooters.html

Hi Spence, make that 11 kids, social services just brought me another. Seven of my own plus one adopted makes eight and three foster kids, dont know how I get the time to polish the scoots, in the process of buying an ET4 for one of the kids for christmas, any donations of big wedges gratefully received (lol), Thank god that the oldest three have moved on, but still bleed me dry of money, for scoots and other related items.
Friend of mine has Silver Special 150 (reg 125) all Italian, same condition as my SX for sale £2500 anybody interested can contact me and I will forward his details. He's based on the Lincolnshire coast if there is any interest.

Holy crap! Where do you live? In a giant shoe?
Hats off to you though.
Post the details of your mate's scooter in the Items For Sale section of the forum, that way more people will pick up on it.
