glad to be back with a scoot after a long absence . a 64GL . not restored , biege with a touch of slight rust . lol

Hi adam, welcome to the site. I saw a beige 64 GL, touch of rust, on a garage forecourt in Harlow back in 2003, that started by love of the trapezoid headlight model Vespas, so it's good to have you along.

been away for 20odd yrs ! early 80's .
finally got back , but can't believe how much things cost now . seems to be so many people who want a piece of history , but not really into the scoots at all and the pleasure of riding a beautiful machine .
nothing better than being able to pose , pulling up outside a cafe or a pub stepping off a sex kitten of a machine .

;D 20 years, same as me then mate, welcome back.. yeh, I've been looking for a Lambretta to keep my Vespa company, just can't feel good about parting with a couple of grand for one seeing as how I sold my last one for £50! .. gee I'm starting to sound like a real old codger now ;D

I can't remember if it was '65 or '66 when I last rode a scoot (Series 1 LI150 ). I bought that for £60 and finaly swopped it for a 1951 Morris Minor convertible ;D I can't wait to get on my GS for real, I've driven it up and down on the drive but it's not the same - roll on next spring!
